When antennas or equipment are added to an existing detuned Telecom tower they can affect the performance of the system. Often a Detuning Network Adjustment is necessary after equipment is added or changed. This will maintain the electrical invisibility of the tower and adhere to the F.C.C. requirement for AM Compliance.
Prior to Detuning Network Adjustment, AM broadcast signal level measurements will be made at specific locations for the affected radio station. After the Detuning Network Adjustment these signal levels are measured again to determine FCC signal compliance.
Measurements will be made to determine the level of the re-radiation coming from the Telecom Tower. The Detuning Network is adjusted to minimize the level of re-radiation from the tower.
We will make these adjustments and provide follow up measurements to ensure that the cell carrier is properly following FCC rules and regulations.
